Work Areas: Market/ecosystem activation
We helped a governmental innovation agency in New Zealand reconnect to its core customer base, founders in the innovation ecosystem, through staging cultural interventions that made space for new and novel conversations.
After years of minimal market engagement and failed community platform launches, we convened a series of community events to spark engagement, networking and circulation of ideas amongst New Zealand’s innovation ecosystem.
Through the use of cutting-edge social technologies, we crowdsourced new service and product offerings. We onboarded and built capacity in a new team focused on market engagement.

Fall 2021 - 2022
Work Areas: Community Design, Market/ecosystem activation, Business Analysis
A grant-funded team at JHU’s school of public health needed support in keeping their course members engaged long after their core program was complete. We led the design and implementation of a global learning community focused in South Asia and East Africa.
We assisted the principal researchers in implementing various requirements of their educational grant, including recommending media platforms for communication, training interns to become community managers, and articulating benchmarks and success measures for community interaction. We facilitated the first set of events, while setting up an initial tech platform for future community learning and support.

We worked with a federal science and research non-profit to disseminate new policy and to create and test new business lines around enacting that policy.
Due to legacy business lines being at risk and changing federal policy landscape, we facilitated an internal and external cultural change program to realign the organisation to reflect current federal policy and to support the culture change necessary to enact the policy amongst the members (academic nonprofits and associations).
Testimonials
Founder
Loom
Meg brings value in enhancing communication and trust within work partnerships. Rather than focusing on the behaviour of the other person, she pushes you to focus on yourself and the patterns you have created that support unhealthy work habits. She encourages you to burst through into a different rhythm, with yourself and with your work environment.
Head Coach
COMPASS
You made it easy for our team to get into the right headspace to really think about the role they play on the team, the importance of team and the cultural aspects that they value. You created a safe space for people to speak their minds (or at least dip a toe in) and start thinking about their actions as it relates to others differently.
Director of Market Engagement
Government Agency, New Zealand
Sarah is a true expert in Agile ways of working and transformational change management. I was fortunate to work with Sarah to embed Agile practices into our organisation and it was a delight to have her in the team. Sarah provided strong and empathetic leadership to guide staff towards new Agile ways of working and at the same time delivered a critical and ambitious project on time and under budget. Sarah is smart, hands-on and an exceptionally quick learner. She manages complexity in a structured, calm way and keeps teams focused on target outcomes. Most importantly Sarah gets stuff done and is a lot of fun to work with! I can wholeheartedly recommend Sarah for any organisation that is on a change or transformation journey.
Founding CEO
ORCID
Meg is an amazing coach and innovator. She brings a wealth of experience in agile development and leadership into each of her engagements. I have had the pleasure of working with her on IP transfer from her shop at Ohio State to a large commercial enterprise, on next generation infrastructure projects at UCLA, and now as a coach for the senior team at ORCID. Her high-voltage energy and creativity, together with her deep foundation in knowledge management, ensures the teams she works with succeed.

During our first conversation, I could already feel some of the weight being lifted. They helped me put a voice to my concerns in a way that was meaningful and authentic. I quickly came around to the idea that our team could confront these challenges and they helped us develop a roadmap that spoke to our specific needs and company culture. They communicate so effectively with all the different personalities on our team, that they adapt to our particular (and ever-evolving) needs, and have been so diligent and responsive along the way.

Sarah’s ability to keep us on track in all of our continuous improvement work is a game changer but on top of that, the design piece is the most valuable. Whenever we need to do something, Sarah makes it collaborative and fun and brings in the tools to make sure we can achieve whatever we need to achieve. She has the skill sets to facilitate and bring in the tools to get the best out of people, in a succinct and effective manner. Re: keeping us on operationally track, the structures, rhythms and toolsets we use keep us going is so important plus her ability to say no to things allows us to move forward at pace and with focus.

When we hired [them] to facilitate our team retreat and lead us through a series of exercises I didn't expect was her dedication to this work; the research that Meg did prior to the retreat: about the company, our history, our work, and our staff - and her approach during the retreat: choosing topics and exercises that got right to the root of our issues, challenges, and barriers. She even reached this old goat and got me thinking about my ways to improve myself and my work. It was impactful, yes, but it was also personal and genuine. I don't give praise recklessly so when I say if you or your team is looking for a thoughtful, engaging, and effective coach, you will not go wrong with [them].

This product review workshop was the best and most impactful workshop I have ever attended at this organisation.
